accessing a Solid Edge.dft file in Creo 2.0

Does anyone know a way to read a Solid Edge.dft file in Creo 2.0. I have a client who gave me this file and wants me to get model together for 3d printing. I need to know if there is any way to read this file type in Creo 2.0

It is possible to convert the Solid Edge file to a neutral format, as STEP and then, read it in Creo.

This type of conversion is possible with CrossManager : http://www.datakit.com/cad-convertors/solid-edge-to-step/14-7-0.html

A Solid Edge .dft file is 2D only. Ask your customer for a .stp/.iges/.x_t file of his .par file

Referring to the following article:

https://www.ptc.com/appserver/cs/view/solution.jsp?n=CS127522&lang=en

Creo Parametric 3.0 can import native Solid Edge Part (*.par) and Assembly (*.asm) files

support import of Solid Edge version 18.0 - ST4

You can use free SolidEdge 2D to converting your file to dwg or dxf
