Hi,

I am sorry I do not understand your question.

I have to import a Solidworks format assembly into Creo as I do, can assembly constraints also be imported?
Thanks.

Hi,

I guess that recognizing+importing assembly constraints defined in Solidworks is not implemented in Creo.

Hi,

I would say no. Why don't you try it yourself?

These import functions are basically customized STEP transfers. If it is not handled by STEP, it won't be handled by the import code.

Since an import is just a bunch of non-parametric solids, why would assembly constraints help?

You might check into the Unite functionality for SW. It is supposed to be able to work with the SW files, including assemblies, without actually changing the SW files so that they can still be updated using SW and those push over to Creo using the updates.
