Is there an easy way to find all assemblies and drawings that are associated with a part?

I'm not aware of a native one, at least if you're not running a data management tool such as PDMLink, Windchill etc.

I have a batch file which looks through all files on our CAD data drive and lists those which contain "part_filename" - it occasionally throws up some false positives, but it generally works well, if slowly.
