Hi,
we have a problem with Granite models.
Because of company standardisation, we are migrating from CoCreate Modeling to Pro/E. We use Granite as conversion format, because STEP and IGES give very poor geometric results (lots of corrupt parts in Pro/E).
Now we found out (a bit too late..) that our first 1600+ parts all have the wrong units (g should have been kg and Fahrenheit should have been Celcius). Now the big problem: if you try to change the units, Pro/E refuses with the message "you cannot perform this operation on a Granite Direct Open Model".
With STEP and IGES, you can choose the option to let Pro/E usestart parts, but with Granite you cannot do this with a large assembly (and we have HUGE assy's!). So we don't have the option to usestart partsas a workaround...
Does anyone know a trick to change the units anyway???
