creating cooling slots on a revolved body

im a begginer and im having trouble making a cooling vent on a revolved surface ... i could just sketch the all the shape on one quarter ( mirror after ) then project it and maybe use punch or something like that to get the slots , but it seems like too much work and not really the smart thing to do , is there any other way i could do this ? not only the patterining it self is a problem but also having the pattern not cross the 120 diamter circle and the smaller circle ( the one with the hole ) , the modle comes from an exam question at the uni im learining at ...

im using creo 10.9

thanks a lot

After thinking about this some more, I have changed my take on the easiest/quickest option. Using multibody functionality here will make this straightforward with the use of a single dimensional pattern to generate all of the slots quickly. The gist is to create a construction body to cut out the whole grill pattern using a Boolean subtract.

The key point is to build the first slot to support a pattern for the other 17 instances of the slot.
