Hello everyone,
I just started a new job and we are using creo elements/direct modeling 17.
In the past i used Creo 3.0 and loved the paramatric modeling in it.
My question is: is it possible to model with creo elements/direct modeling 17 with parametric ( like Creo 3.0) ?
Myself and my collega's have nno idee (and i can't find it on the interner).
Thanks in advence.
Here is a Creo Elements/Direct video tutorials: All Creo Elements/Direct & CoCreate Tutorials
There is an add-on module(s) in Creo Elements Direct Modeling that allows a designer to add parametric constraints and relations to modeling elements, this module I believe is called Advanced Design and requires a license. If your company has this module license than you can turn on the two following options.
You can find this menu under File | Modules, once these are activated they will add new tabs to the menu ribbon.
Note: These tools do not let you design components as you would in Creo (Parametric) but allow you to add them to the model afterwards to control it.
Regards,
Thom
