finding custom/variable dimension name

I was going to make a dimension B that flex's on the family table but when I try to add B to the name field of the dimension it tells me that symbol already exists.  I tried finding it doing a ctrl-F but no luck.  I know I could just make this name B_ or something of the like but I would like to know how to find the other B symbol in this model I am updating.

Check if exists a parameter called B, if you try to name a dimension with the same name of a parameter, it shows too the same message: " that symbol already exists"

The ctrl-F tool doesn't find Parameters.

It is not a parameter.  That is the first place I checked.  It seems like there should be a master list of names somewhere that is view able.

Also I believe if you are using GD&T and have a Datum_plane GEOMETRIC TOLERANCE DATUM "B" you can not rename the dimension to "B"

For the same reason.
