I have a non-symmetrical part with a symmetrical internal passage. I
need to see the stress on the ends of the internal passage, which are
the high stress areas. Not only do I need to see this, but I would like
to be able to note the magnitude of the stress, so that I can use this
as a measure while I improve the part design. I can use a contour
results plot, but then "view max" is unavailable. I could play "games"
with my legend until I could evaluate these high stresses to a
reasonable degree but that is a somewhat bulky work around. I could
insert a capping surface and see these areas but when I use "view max"
BAM!!!!!!!!! Wildfire 4.0, build M080 crashes and completely exits...
Thank you very much... ANYONE else seeing this? Maybe not in some
other builds? Any other recommendations on work arounds? I'm hoping
maybe some of you have seen this, or could test this and tell me that it
is "fixed" in some later build... Otherwise, I guess I will open a
call to PTC.
