helical sweep question

Hi there,

In helical section sweep command can i make the pitch in helical section sweep to follow a graph.

Not that I am aware of. Are you wanting to graph the pitch or the profile? The pitch you cannot, but in the trajectory section, you should be able to use evalgraph().

It is easy to simulate the helical sweep pitch variance with a wrap feature. In that case, yes, you can use evalgraph() in the section of the feature you wrap around a cylinder.

Do you have an example of what you are trying to accomplish?

I like either a wrap, or a datum cuve via equation for a trajectory like that. I think it's easier to understand and manipulate than the variable pitch interface on the helical spring.
