how to assign mass (density) to stp file?

I'm importing an assembly (stp) file with hundreds of parts, almost all of which are steel.

Is there an easier way to assign density than typing the same number in hundreds of times?
Thanks!

Jim,

You may try using template part. Create a part as template part and assign Steel as material to that part.Define that part as start part template and when importing STEP file use the option "Use Templates". This will import the steps files using template part with assigned material.
