1. I have added a part A from windchill common workspace to my local workspace and did save as copy to PART B with a new name.
2. Did some dimensional changes.
Now I want to make its drawing.
So instead of creating new drawing, I copied the drawing of PART A and renamed it to PART B Drawing.
But PART B drawing still has PART A model as reference.
HOW CAN I CHANGE THE REFERENCE MODEL (PART A) TO PART B IN NEW DRAWING (i.e., in PART B DRAWING)?
Hi Arun,
Best way to do this would be
Either to use save as command in windchill & in Workspace Save As window & use "Collect Related drawings" button to have the new drawing associated with the new part
Or open the part & drawing in creo/wildfire/pro-e, & use rename command to change the file name to new name for both while in session & save both.
You have to make sure that let_proe_rename_pdm_objects to yes if you are using windchill/intralink or rename command will be grayed out
