Sure you can. Open a New Window with the same part in it. You can have one in Annotation and create a new combined state, and have the other window just have the model open. In Creo 2, go to the View tab in the ribbon, click on the "Window" group with the little downward facing arrowhead. That's called the overflow, and New Window is in there. Two windows is great way to work.

Hello Robert, I tird this but It is still part of teh main applicaiton and cannot be moved independantly to my second monitor. Unless I am doing it incorrectly. I know you can have many veiwports, but they are all contained within the mian window.

We are currently runing version17. With this revision at least what your user wants is not possible. The application interface is either in Modeling or in Annotation mode but not both. In Annotation you can bring up the 3D Aux viewport and "cascade" it with the Annotation view but the 3D window only lets you rotate and view not modify the models or assemblies. As well this 3D Aux view will not fit over on another screen.
