.tph file.do I need that?

When creating a NC assembly (.asm) in Creo2.0, a ".tph" is created in my workspace when I save it. But if I delete it, then it seems to have no influence on the NC file.

So do I need to keep that file? or can I delete it without problem and just Check my .asm file in Windchill?
