weld option does not work.

I have the student version of CREO 3.0, but the weld option does not work. How can I get this installed?

Hi,

I guess that Student license does not contain WELDING module (code 71) and therefore its functionality is not available. Please check the contents of your license file.

Hi,

As Martin mentioned there are some modules (inclusive Welding) which are not a part of Student license.

One would think that PTC would want students to get used to Welding and other modules so that when they switch to non-educational versions in the work force, they would want the company to purchase the necessary modules that they have grown to use and love.
