If you have lost your licence due to a longer break, such as lunch, 2h-meeting,... you only have the possibility to "Retry", "Save" or "Exit"-ProE/Creo.
Retry only tries to pick a new licence of the batch that you have picked during program start up.
If during the meantime all licences of this package are under use of colleagues, why isn't it possible to chose a different licence package, if company has some?
So I mean to change the "Retry" into a "Renew".
I mean, the software knows the different available licences during startup process and the software can know the licence package information.
So in a very comfortable version, Creo can propose to chose between the packages, with all necessary licences including.
Pro/Engineer-style work-around:
1. Don't take a lunch break
2. For long meetings, place the mouse on the spacebar, so Pro/E thinks you are still there...
Yes, it's Friday!
