It would be very useful if a sketch could be placed on a CSYS with the view direction defined by Z and oriented with X to the Right.
Occasionally, I will have a pattern of extrude features that have different clocking. My current practice is to define a pattern of coordinate systems, then define a datum plane on the X-axis of the CSYS so the sketch in the extrude is oriented properly for each instance. This proposal would eliminate the need for the extraneous datum plane.
This could also be useful for creating odd-angle extrude features. A single offset CSYS can be turned and twisted as needed and then a sketch could be created without the need for two additional datum planes.
