I tried to use this "supposed to be simple" connection type, but got the following error messages (wtf) after which CREO quit and I had to start over

Normally I use the cam-follower connections, which mostly work fine.
Has anyone ever used this type of mechanism connection succesfully in their professional work? Any examples?
