I have a cylindrical, rubber isolator that is essentially bonded between an inner and outer steel tube in a larger assembly. I keep getting a warning about the large difference in modulus values and my analysis keeps crashing. Is it possible to bond different materials together in an analysis?
This place is for Creo Elements Direct. I think you have a problem with Creo Parametric Analysis module. You wont be find fast reply for your question here. You can move the queastion correct forum.
FWIW, When I've had rubber isolators in my assemblies, I haven't include the rubber in the FEA model. I represent the isolator using springs. This doesn't capture the non-linear stiffness at the higher displacements of the rubber. But, if you're operating in the more linear region of the isolator's stiffness this might give you good results.
