Threaded bolt - FEM calculation
Hello, I would like to calculate the bolts, but I don't know exactly how to set the constraints.
Should the thread also be designed?
I'm hoping for a good idea.
Designed with Creo 10.

I considered calculating the bolt on its own. There is a line contact between the casting and the bolt. The bolt is supported on the face side.

it's just an assumption, I don't know the real loads:
so the mass of a steel plate x g

It is meant like this:
The plate is fixed and a chain is attached to the bolt.

What is the background to the offset of 0.02mm?
Why was the material ALMGSI1 chosen for T1? Is there a special reason for this?

The penetration in the contact forces the contact calculation even before the actual load is applied, i.e. this is the actual preload. The load is then applied to the model that has already converged in the contact. The material pairing has a corresponding influence on this with the E-modules.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
