Throttle cable linkage mechanism

I am modeling a throttle cable linkage mechanism and looking for methodology to incorporate the wire rope (cable) component.  At one end is the throttle body with associated linkages and the other end is a throttle pedal with its associated linkage, both being connected by a cable.
