Has anyone noticed or has PTC listed a bug involving Table display and ACL errors?
We have some ACL code that executes a com_call to a VB method that returns the number of targets in a link. This code runs frequently, and apparently whenever exiting Arbortext Editor.
No errors have ever been produced in Arbortext Editor 5.2.
When testing with Arbortext Editor 5.4, when we leave the cursor in a table cell and select File->Exit or hit the red X in the upper right corner of the Editor window, we get an Arbortext error dialog complaining about an invalid ID or undefined interface at the line number in the ACL file containing the com_call. Clicking OK on the error dialog about 3 times causes the proper behavior in Arbortext Editor, but the error dialogs are an annoyance.
If we place the cursor outside the table, the error does not occur.
If we turn off the table grid view and view table tags only, the error does not occur.
Before we consult with PTC technical support, I thought I would ask Adepters.
