Excel Import
With earlier versions of Excel you could import tables into Epic with ease. We recently upgraded to Excel 2007 and find that function no longer works with ANY version of Epic that we are using, i.e. 5.3 or 5.4. Has anyone else had the same experience and if so, were you able to find a solution?

Hi Sindy-
Can you be more specific about what you're trying to do? I just did a
quick test of copying a block of an Excel 2007 spreadsheet and pasting
it into Arbortext 5.4, and it worked fine.

Basically all you do is create a generic table in Epic, highlight the excel information that you want to paste into epic, copy, go to Epic, place your cursor in the table and select Paste Excel. In Excel 2003, it would work, but we can't get it to work with 2007. I thought maybe I was forgetting a step, so I went back to my basic instructions and it should have worked. I am getting reports from other users as well that they are having problems. Are we missing a step or something?
