I am trying to create a custom Word template to use when exporting completed test runs out of my Test Runs tracker using the "Export to Office" functionality in Codebeamer 3.1. I have a couple additional custom fields in my Test Steps in both my Test Cases and Test Runs trackers. I can access most of the Test Step information using expressions like:
«item.testCaseRuns.testStepResults.col4» |
However, if I try to use the column number associated with my custom fields located in the Test Step Results table in my Test Runs tracker, it fails and defaults to the author rather than the content in my custom field.
Any help would be much appreciated!

Problem Resolved!
My issue was not correctly using merge fields. To correctly edit the fields you need to press Alt+F9 to view the merge fields and then edit them there!
I was simply copying and pasting lines such as:
«item.testCaseRuns.testStepResults.col4» |
and then changing col4 to col5, which does not change the merge field's value. Originally, I was copying the field associated with author and I never changed the merge field value so all of my fields kept their reference (the author).
