Can someone provide me with an idea as to what the best practice might be for taking an AutoCAD 2005 file to ProE? It seems that there must be options as there are times when things import nicely and other times when files become unmanageable - all entities get put on a single layer and whenever we try to manipulate the layer the session locks up or kills.
