Erase old versions

Is there any way to do this without opening each file & manually delete old versions? It is too risky opening explorer & deleting files. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi set the working directry, go, window, open system window, type purge and type exit, this deletes all the old version of all parts in that folder...
