Geometrical Tolerances

Geometrical Tolerances

All, I am trying to write a geom tol into a table cell, I seam to remeber
you can do this but I can't seam to find out how, can anyone point me it the
right direction?

Or tell me how to do it?

In Drawing Mode, how do you attach a Geometric Tolerance to a Created
Dimension (addXX as opposed to a shown dimension dXX).



I thought there was a setting??

Art,
To mix shown GTOL with created dimension or vica versa you have to set the
config option: create_drawing_dims_only NO. This will store the created
dimension in the 3D model as well and allow what you want.
Here we normally do not store created dimension in the model, as we want
different persons to work and the drawing and model simultaniously.
But when the draftsmen is going to create a dimension that will be
referenced by a shown GTOL, they toggle this config option while creating
it after ensuring they can take ownership of the 3D model in that short
period of time.
