Importing Layers

Is there a way to import layer trees? For example, I often times import cad models from vendors of various fittings, valves, etc. I spend too much time creating and naming layers to correspond with my companies standard layer naming convention for designed parts.

As per my knowledge you can try out with two options 1. There is a toggele button in model tree to select Layer tree. If you activate Layer tree you will find Settings>>Setupfile>>Open You can import your file pre-formatted as per Proe layer file. 2.You can create a macro to create Layers and can use it repeatedly.

3. You can create an empty part from your start part and import a step file into it.

ModelCheck can be configured to do this.
