Multi Monitor window control

In a multi monitor setup is there a way to get pro e to open on the non
primary display? One of my users is complaining that he has to move his
window every time it opens.

I don't think so, BUT you CAN select WHICH monitor is the primary... That's what I do... I have a nVidia FX3800 and in it's control panel you can "select the display you want Windows to use as primary". Most other windows programs will remember where you moved them, and open up at that same location so you only have to move them once. At least that's what I find...

Thanks...

Another neat trick, that another user on this list sent me when I posted a
similar question, is that if you ctrl-click on the X when closing a window,
it will reopen in the same size & location. This works really well for
network folders opened in Explorer window, and I have hotkeys set to open
them. (subsequently, you can close the window with a regular click, and it
will still remember the location from the most recent ctrl-click)

You can always tell him what I told one of my users that likes to complain about EVERYTHING… If it is such an inconvenience go back to single display J

Although I can't find the info in the PTC web site, if dual monitors are
'supported' I expect glitches like this, but if they are 'certified' I
would not expect this behavior.
