Pro/E support for the new ASME Y14.5-2009 Dimensioning and Tolerancing standard?

Does anyone know when Pro/E will support the latest Dimensioning and
Tolerancing standard ASME Y14.5-2009? I searched the knowledge base and
the ptc.com and found no reference to the new standard.

Thanks,

Our GD&T expert here looked at the new ASME 14.5 -2009. I have attached our findings. There are some things Pro/E could never do in any of the past versions.

Any updates from PTC on what release/datecode of ProEngineer that will implement the new symbols in ASME Y14.5-2009?

How is everyone dealing with this issue for now? PTC has told me that the ability to use the additional GD&T specs included in the 2009 spec will not be included OOTB until Creo 3 when it is "planned to start" being capable.

Implication from Karen's post here is a lot of it can be done by creating custom symbols in the note text symbols box or GD&T symbol table. Can anyone provide guidance on howI would cleanly do this (guide or help page from PTC?).

We want to gain the benefits of what is new in the 2009 spec and are planning to begin internal training next month, but without these tweaks, Pro/E can't do it or would require hack-n-slap methods to kludge it in.

Erik,

I thought I remember hearing something at the January 2013 Tech Committee
Meetings that PTC was going to try and incorporate this into a later
Datecode build of Creo 2. Maybe they were too busy digging themselves out
of a hole for not being involved in the ANSI committees and were just
talking out of their A** so they didn't sound even worse.

Actually, they were not going to get it all in Creo 3 until they got chewed out at the TC meetings. So they are trying to get it out for Creo 3 but some stuff maybe in a later Datecode so that people who can't upgrade regularly can go to Creo 3 and stay there without having to do Windchill upgrades and whatnot.
