WEBCAST Q&A
Question from Anonymous: Do we have the possibility to create partitions to define more precise the elements for mesh?
Answer: Yes, each surface can have it's own mesh density, Multi-Body can be used to create a volume mesh density. In Creo 9.0, individual surfaces can be divided / broken up to apply more localized mesh densities and/or loads.
Question from Anonymous: Are there benefits to using joints over contacts if contacts give better results?
Answer: If the area of concern is away from the joint, then joints are easier. Otherwise, the contacts will show stresses at the contact regions.
