WEBCAST Q&A

Question from Alex:  Does changing the retract surface to a curved surface reduce the accuracy of the machining?

Answer:  No, basically it should only effect the start and stop in your toolpath.  It controls the amount of pull out only.  It will only effect the entry and exit.

WEBCAST Q&A

Question from Dennis:  Can you split the toolpath so the next tool starts where the first one ended?

Answer:  It won't remember the last position of the tool in the 1st toolpath to start there on the 2nd toolpath.  Something that works well for this is using "at a location" for axis control.

WEBCAST Q&A

Question from Wayne:  Is there a collision detection option so we don't have to check only by eyeballing it?

Answer:  Yes, you can turn on and off collision detection.  The main thing that eyeballing does is it helps with deciding how to fix a problem with the toolpath.
