When selecting the “Perform Symmetry analysis” option, Creo performs a symmetry analysis to identify existing symmetric and antisymmetric components. These components can be reused instead of creating new mirrored models.
Be aware that there is no Symmetry Analysis on the following components
- Skeletons
- Non-geometric simplified representations
- Assemblies with excluded or non-geometric simp rep components
