      WEBCAST Q&A

Question from Kevin: We have seen that when we split surfaces, both surfaces appear to get a new ID.  This results in child feature and assembly failures.  Is/has this been addressed?

Answer:  Yes, this would change the IDs as the underlying geometry is different.  There are ways of addressing this but that is dependent on the use case.

      WEBCAST Q&A

Question from Phil:  I may have missed this but when you create STEP AP-242, did the semantic references transfer to the STEO file?

      Answer:  Yes, they do transfer.
