Question from Kevin: We have seen that when we split surfaces, both surfaces appear to get a new ID. This results in child feature and assembly failures. Is/has this been addressed?
Answer: Yes, this would change the IDs as the underlying geometry is different. There are ways of addressing this but that is dependent on the use case.
