Consistent Fatal Error upon Selecting Working Directory in Creo 2 Parametric

So I recently switched to an HP xw660 Workstation at work and have tremendously difficulty selecting working directory and/or opening models in the form of Fatal Errors. It sometimes takes me 30 minutes of tries before I finally am able to select working directory. Sometimes it has another Fatal Error when I try to open a model/assembly. Allowing the model to show up in the preview window sometimes allows me to proceed. (I have the traceback log)

Does anyone have any suggestions? It is getting ridiculously annoying.

I have a 'performance mode' config that works fine. I just need the high quality config to run properly so I can render.

Thanks!
