Drop down menu within drawing

Hello,

I am trying to create a drop down menu for a Parameter that pops up when you create a drawing using a Format.

I can create a drop down menu within the parameter window but not one that pops up when I create a drawing.

Any suggestions.

Restricted parameter text file can be used for drawing parameters.

Or is this something else that is not explained?

If you're talking about this dialog, then I think you're out of luck.

The only places I've seen the drop down behavior work is on the parameters screen and in the model tree.

They drop down does not work in drawing tables, notes, or prompts for a value (like in the first image.)

File an enhancement request that a drop down menu be available from a input parameter field when adding a template to a drawing utilizing values from an existing restricted_parameter.dat file.

I would hate to see PTC create a new file for these drop-downs when usually the data to be populated is already in the restricted_parameter.dat file.
