Showing combined State view with annoations in the CAD drawing

Hello,

Software used: Creo 8.0.

When I set up combined state view in the model I can show different dimensions and annotations in each combined state view, but when add a new view to the drawing and select the combined state view, the annotations and dimensions are not displayed in the drawing as they are in the model.

When I select show model annotations for the drawing view it shows every single dimension available not just the annotations and dimension I displayed in the Model according to the combined state view.

In older versions of Creo, this was possible, not sure if there is a setting that should be changed in new versions.

Thanks,

There seems to be a bug, and PTC is currently not working on a fix, see:

https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS255181

This is a important aspect of MBD, a lot of companies still rely on drawings and without this functionality the benefits of MBD are reduced.

Try to use not combined state, but saved orientation witch used in combined states and config option
auto_show_3d_detail_items == yes

Set combined states in model.

Check that auto_show_3d_detail_items is set to default value "yes".

And in a drawing view just set saved orientation witch used in model combined states

It seems to work in Creo 8.
