The Creo Parametric config options for Web.Link confuse me a bit. This support article gives the recommended settings for Web.Link: https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS156638. Before reading this article I was only aware of the web_enable_javascript options, so that is all I enabled.
Which means my config looks like this:
Funny enough, everything with Web.Link works fine. I can read files from my local file system, manipulate and read data in my Creo session, etc. But according to the config options, this should be disabled.
So what do the web_link_read/write options actually do? Anyone got an idea?

As far as I know, this 4 options (web_link_file_read, web_link_file_write, web_link_proe_read and web_link_proe_write) should be changed to "yes" in order to run web.link:
