I have a flat view(sheetmetal part) in the drawing. i would like to find it through code for the reference to ordinate dimensioning to the view,
Hi
Can you describe more: Do you using General drawing view? How do you create the flat state of the part? Creo version?
Team greeting for the reply, yes as you expected we add as a general view from the instance is already created as a unbend sheet metal.
I think, you can do following steps:
1. Find all generals views in the drawing.
2. Get model of the view.
3. Check parameters for last feature of the model. In unfolded model the last feature is a Flat pattern. If last feature has parameters SMT_FLAT_PATTERN_WIDTH, SMT_FLAT_PATTERN_LENGTH then this part is flat state for sheet metal part.
i need all the dimensions not only the width and length of the part.
as a ordinate dimensioning.
Hope you understand my requirement
