Objects in Workspace Sharing

How to share data in Workspace with others without checkin into commonspace, thereby version increase not occurs i.e Iteration remains to be same?

Export the workspace content as a .pws (portable workspace) file and share it with the intended recepient. PWS export option can be accessed in Pro/ENGINEER via Tools # Server Manager # Workspace # Export

Can this be possible for third part application (UG/Solidworks)...As I dont see an option of Export.

Let me know your views on the above scenario..

I haven't explored 3rd party WGM much but I assume there should be similar option available there as well in WGM for UG/SW.
