Hello. We got a Tormach 1100mx at our work and we use CREO 7.0 for our CAD/CAM. Unfortunately, I could not find a post processor for the Pathpilot on PTC's website. I am wondering if there is a post processor somewhere out there, or do I have to make my own Post processor. Thanks!

Hi,
PTC does not provide post processors.
Hi Martin,
So, this means that I would need to create my own correct?
Chris
Hi Chris,
there are also service providers you can buy post processors from.
You don't have to develop them yourself.
Greetings
Patrick
Hi Patrick,
Do you know where I could buy those post processors from?
Chris
Yes , you are right.
The Tormach appears to use a fairly standard version of g-code, so one of the available posts might be close. You could modify the post to your needs with the built in post editor, and contact the gpost creators for support as needed. I haven't used Austin NC, (the creators of gpost) so I don't know their rates.
I will give the default posts a try and see if I can modify it. I'll see about contacting Austin NC as well. Thank you.
Hello Chris12. We are thinking about purchasing a Tormach 1100MX and also use Creo. Were you able to come up with a suitable post processor?
I'm using Tomrach1100mx as well. Just installed Creo+ with NC mill. Excited to get chips made. Ive been using SW & FUsion to mill this year. Any word on post processor?
