Error “The remote server returned an unexpected response: (407) Proxy Authentication Required” while installing 30 days trial version Mathcad.
Causes:
This error can be because of multiple reasons like - Internet connection, Security firewall or any other means that would block the connection or obstruct authentication. With the help of local IT administrator, user can turn off the security for the time being and try to connect again after reducing the security level
Resolution:
Contact PTC Customer License Management and request for a new license file.
