This is a user forum and you cannot get specific licencing help here. But: Follow the steps below and you have some success

Understanding the "Access Denied" Error:

  • Account Permissions: When you create a basic PTC account, it doesn't automatically grant you full access to all tools, especially sensitive ones like License Management. Your account needs specific privileges, often designated as "SupportVerified" or "License Management Licensing," to view and manage your company's licenses.
  • Online Supervisor: Your organization likely has one or more "Online Supervisors" designated within the PTC system. These supervisors are responsible for managing user accounts and assigning permissions. If you are not an Online Supervisor, you won't have direct access.

How to Resolve Your License Error (and get help from PTC):

  1. Contact Your Company's PTC Online Supervisor: This is the most crucial step. If your company uses PTC products, there should be someone internally who manages the PTC accounts and licenses. Reach out to your IT department or the person responsible for software licenses. They can:

    • Verify your account status.
    • Resend any verification emails you might have missed.
    • Grant you the necessary "License Management Licensing" permissions (or "License Management Reporting" for read-only access) within your PTC web account.
  2. Contact PTC Customer Support (Licensing Department): If you don't know who your internal supervisor is, or if they are unable to resolve the issue, you will need to contact PTC directly. They are the only ones who can directly adjust your account permissions.

    • How to Contact PTC Licensing:

      • Online Case Logger: Go to the PTC Customer Support site (www.ptc.com/support) and look for options to "Open a Support Case" or "Manage Support Cases." This is often the most efficient way.
      • Email: You can try emailing wwlm@ptc.com (Worldwide License Management).
      • Phone: PTC has regional support phone numbers. Check their "Contact Licensing" page on the support website for the most up-to-date phone numbers.
    • Information to Have Ready When Contacting PTC:

      • Your PTC account username (email address).
      • Your company's Service Contract Number (SCN) or Sales Order Number (SON) for Mathcad. This helps them quickly identify your license entitlements.
      • Your PTC Host ID (if you've been asked for it before or can find it through Mathcad's license configuration).
      • A clear description of the "Access Denied" error message and where you're encountering it (e.g., "License management section").
      • The priority of your issue (e.g., "Work stopped," "Work severely impacted").
