Hello every one,
Could anyone help me how to make the active variable in working MC, e.g. Mky:= …. , Mk*y:= ….. (M superscript ky or k*y) and M(k*y):= …… (M subscript (k*y))?
Thank you so much and have a lovely weekend
Best regards,
hutamalie
I'm a little confused exactly what your after.
Are k and y scalars?
Mike
Hi Mike,
That like the * (star) or just the hole notation like in M*.
Please find an attachment in this email
Thanks in advance and have a nice and lovely weekend

You will have to go into special character mode.
Type M and then leave the cursor on the right hand side of the letter.
Then press ctrl shift k - this should turn the cursor red and will allow special characters to be inserted. Just repeat the steps to exit the mode.

Hello Mike,
Could you please show me how? And where can I get the special characters from MC? I have a bit of confused.
Thank you

Are you after something like below?
Sorry, I am currently in work and running off an air-card (dongle). It takes about 10 minutes to load a webpage.
Mike
Mathcad does not (yet) allow superscript characters in variable names.
