CPU higher while in function

I got this by accident. It is the "Julian Gregory Day" worksheet posted earlier.

With task manager up go to the JD2Str function and click into it (say on the number 1524). I was trying to assess speed by trying to remove this number and change it after upgrading my graphics drivers (there wasn't a difference), but just happened to notice what the CPU does just depending on focus.

What sends the CPU up??

Just clicking in the function????
