Getting a string out to clipboard

Getting a string out to clipboard

I am looking for a method that allows me to select a computed string, copy it to clipboard, so that I can then paste it as plain text elsewhere (e.g. a 'file open' dialog, or notepad, or MS word)

If I select the displayed result it doen't copy a pastable string.

If I modify a text box to display teh string, copy isn't an optin (right click or ctrl-c)

Suggestions?

Ctrl C works with a basic rtf text box.

Where did you get the rtf box from?

Also I note that right click has copy greyed out, while ctr+c appears to work - confusing eh.

It's a MS control

The right click menu is controlled by Mathcad.

Not sure if this is worth the effort, but you could output to an Excel component, and copy from there.
