Help needed in DoE

Hi,

I have a trouble in solving the attached problem as I was not used to DoE.

I want to solve eqaution for calculating power keeping N as fixed and T as varying.

Some times I want to calculate Torque keeping power as fixed and N as varying.

How to do this?

One of the major advantages of Mathcad is unit handling. I have modified your sheet to demonstrate.

Just a word of caution if you choose to use the unit handling in MathCad.

The sheet as is re-defines the units T (Tonne) and N (Newton).

This is marked in MathCad with the green wavy line underneath the variable definition.

Be very carefull! it is too easy to re-define a Unit & create all kinds of confusion.

In this example, the initial value of T shows 'correctly' in Newton meters.

Once the N is re-defined this changes to the second set of values as shown.

All of the standard units are too easy to change (my usual failing is to redefine the metre... followed by hours of searching to find out why the units no longer balance)
