Attached is part of an equation I am working on and is in need of help. I do not understand the problem it is having with inputting a constant value that changes with the Area designated. n.con is unitless however it will not solve the equation, I do not know what to do and I need the h.vent to come out in units of W/(in^2*K)
W = watts
in^2 = inches squared
K = Kelvin
Thank you
It's the same issue as before. No formula derived from physics is likely to have a quantity with units raised to the power of 0.85, so it must be an empirical formula. The way to implement an empirical formula in Mathcad is to divide each variable by the units it is supposed to have, and then multiply the entire expression by the expected output units. You then have a version of the empirical formula that will work with quantities that have units.
