I am calculating the pressure loss in a pipe and the equation (pressure loss = velocity squared divided by 2 times the gravitational constant) gives the pressure in feet. It's actually feet of water gauge but Mathcad only gives it in feet.
I would like to show the units in "ft_wg" to indicate that these are pressure units and not length. I would also like to be able to convert ft_wg to psi.
I would really appreciate any help.
I'm using Mathcad Prime 2.0, so I haven't been able to open any of the Mathcad 15 example files.
You can define your own units in terms of in-built ones, so how about this (though you have to include the conversion factor, c, in calculating the pressure)?
