How to get table on Prime 9 to show the value for a previously defined variable

I'm trying to create a summary table at the end of a worksheet where I need the values of variables previously defined to come up instead of the variable name:

Hi,

at the end of https://support.ptc.com/help/mathcad/r9.0/en/#page/PTC_Mathcad_Help/about_tables.html page you will find following sentence: Tables are for input only, not output.

Hi,

It is possible to use a matrix with header text in first row to display results

Best solution is probably to use the Excel add-in and make the table in Excel.

As was already said the tables in Prime are limited to manual input only and are not intended to provide aa means for displaying results.+

I also don't understand why it should be a table so I won't use either Prime matrices with headers and sure not an embedded Excel  component just to display the result values.

Whats wrong with using normal text fields and variable evaluations?

If you like you may collect all in one text block. You may use the tab for vertical alignment and make use of the formatting possibilities for individual text or math regions.

And if you don't like the short variable names to be displayed but still want them to use for your calculations, you may redefine longer variable names (use the underline to represent a space) right in front of the result display (and you may hide these definitions in a collapsed area)

Hello @AM_10724346 ,

For presentation purposes, particularly when displaying results, the most effective technique is to use a combination of Excel components and text boxes as shown below. You should place all the output within a protected area to prevent users from inadvertently changing the layout of the output section.

From what I can gather from your image, it appears that you are attempting to create a worksheet related to pipe stress. The yield of the pipe, Sy, is dependent on both temperature and piping material. Your worksheet should automatically select the Sy values based on the temperature and material of the pipe provided as inputs.

Additionally, avoid converting from metric units to customary units. Instead, you should directly refer to the respective piping code tables for your inputs. The piping code is explicit about unit conversions.
