Hi Everyone,
I am new to PTC Creo and I am having issues solving a problem.
I have a quarter inch tubing, 0.02" wall thickness, aluminum tube that is clamped on both sides ( ends can't move ).
I know the acceleration vs. time of the mid point.
I am trying to get displacement and strain of the bar vs. time.
I would like to be able to input my acceleration vs. time table which I obtained from experimental testing.
Is this possible ? and if so how could i do it ? I am really new so patience is the key with me if possible ![]()
Thanks so much guys,
Thomas

This is the Mathcad forum. You should post Creo questions to the Creo forum.
If you have the acceleration as a function of time then to get the displacement you need to integrate twice w.r.t. time. I could tell you how to do that in Mathcad, but I don't know anything about Creo.

Woops sorry about this, going to try and figure out how to post on the creo forum.
